Our Story

A trailblazing approach to CRE.

We started CRECO because we saw a gap in the San Antonio market. Tenants and owners deserved more than what the volume-driven national chains were offering — more attention, more analytical depth, more skin in the game.

So we built a firm with a small, senior team. Every engagement runs through a principal. Every assignment gets the analytical rigor of a national shop, but with the responsiveness and judgment of a boutique.

Role: Seller representation (family ownership)
Buyer: Headwall Investments

Zachary A. Stovall represented the Stovall and Poole families in Headwall Investments' contract to acquire most of a roughly 3.1-acre triangular block bounded by E. Park Ave, E. Euclid Ave and N. St. Mary's St, at the south end of the St. Mary's Strip near the Pearl. The block includes Janal Wholesale, the Stovall family's wholesale florist since 1964.

What is CRECO?

CRECO - Commercial Real Estate Company is a full-service commercial real estate brokerage representing tenants, landlords, owners, and investors across retail, office, industrial, flex, and land — for lease and for sale — in San Antonio and the Texas Hill Country.

Does CRECO represent tenants or landlords?

Both — and investors. CRECO is not a tenant-only firm. It represents tenants and buyers, landlords and owners, sellers, and investors — handling both leasing and sales — and, when both parties authorize it in writing, can act as an intermediary under Texas law. Tenant representation is typically paid by the landlord, so it is usually free to the tenant. CRECO also owns and leases its own centers in Fair Oaks Ranch and Lytle and is developing Elkhorn Point in Fair Oaks Ranch.

What property types does CRECO handle?
