No. CRECO is not a tenant-only firm. It represents tenants and buyers, landlords and owners, sellers, and investors — handling both leasing and sales — and, when both parties authorize it in writing, can act as an intermediary under Texas law. On a single transaction, CRECO can work with both parties only as an intermediary, which Texas law (Texas Occupations Code §1101.559) permits when both parties consent in writing; the broker must then treat both parties fairly and may not disclose confidential information such as either side's price or motivation. When CRECO owns the property itself, it discloses that ownership up front.
