Commercial real estate is a relationship business with technical depth. We hire for both. The most important quality isn't years of experience — it's whether you'll do the work and play well with the rest of the team.
If you're early in your career, we'll coach you. If you're a producer somewhere else, we'll meet you where you are. Either way, the bar is the same: be the kind of broker we'd want to refer a friend to.

- Active TX real estate license — or willing to get one
- Commercial focus or real interest in moving to commercial from residential
- Self-directed and accountable — we coach, we don't micromanage
- Comfortable with phone, email, in-person — most CRE deals still close that way

Common questions
Before you apply.
I'm a residential agent. Can I make the switch to commercial?+
Yes — we've coached the transition before. Commercial is a different rhythm than residential: longer sales cycles, more underwriting, sophisticated counterparties, but more interesting work and bigger checks. If you have the discipline and the network, you can build a real practice. Tell us about your background in the application and we'll talk through the path.
I'm not licensed yet. Should I still apply?+
If you have relevant experience (commercial real estate, finance, development, leasing, capital markets, or related) and you're committed to getting licensed, yes. Texas requires 180 hours of pre-licensing education plus the state exam. We can talk about timing in the conversation.
Where do CRECO agents work from?+
Our headquarters is at 8000 Fair Oaks Pkwy in Fair Oaks Ranch — a mixed-use commercial center we own and operate, with executive office suites available for our agents. Most of our team works hybrid: in-office for client meetings and team time, in the field for tours, and from anywhere for desk work.
What does the comp look like?+
Competitive splits with no hidden fees. We pay you a real share of the commission on every deal you close, with bonuses on volume milestones. The platform (CRM, listing system, marketing, data) comes with the seat — we don't bill it back. Specifics in the first call.
Is the application confidential?+
Yes. We never contact your current brokerage or employer without your explicit say-so. Many of our hires are still actively producing somewhere else when they apply.
